Perfectly located on the harbourfront on Tobermory's main street, Bay View Apartment is a beautifully presented first-floor holiday flat just moments from the town's cafés, restaurants, shops and waterfront pubs.

Three comfortable bedrooms sleep up to six guests, with the living room, king-size bedroom and twin room all looking directly out across the harbour. The views change with every tide and weather — sunrise pink, summer blue, and dramatic winter silver.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing coastal escape, a base to explore the island's wildlife and whisky, or a remote working retreat with Scotland's finest backdrop — Bay View has everything you need.

& Alana

"Almost born on the lifeboat heading from Tobermory to Oban, I grew up on Mull for over 20 years. The views, people and local culture are very deep in my heart."

Fergus and Alana fell in love with Bay View long before they owned it — they stayed here for their wedding, and when it came up for sale, they put everything they had into making it theirs. It's their home away from home, their happy place, and they want it to be yours too.

Wonderful family-run smokehouse producing excellent smoked trout and salmon. Perfect for picnic supplies or stocking up for cosy evenings in.

Island Bakery Honesty Box

One of our personal favourites — delicious organic biscuits made right on Mull. The lemon and orange melts and chocolate gingers are exceptional.

Glengorm Coffee Shop

Set beside Glengorm Castle just north of Tobermory — perfect for coffee, cake and dramatic coastal scenery.

Glass Barn Cafe

Lovely café showcasing local produce including the famous Isle of Mull Cheese. Great coffee and lunches in a stunning setting.

Mull Bread Box

A self-service honesty box bakery — freshly baked breads and treats. A lovely example of island trust and community spirit.

Glenforsa Café

questions

Check-in is from 4:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. If you need a little flexibility, just get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
There is public parking available on the harbourfront and in the Ledaig car park, a short walk from the apartment. Tobermory is a compact town so everything is easily walkable from the apartment.
Yes — the apartment sleeps up to 6 and the twin bedroom is ideal for children. Tobermory itself is a wonderful place for families, with the harbour, beaches, wildlife and the Balamory connection always a hit with younger guests.
We don't accept pets at Bay View Apartment. We hope you understand — it helps us keep the apartment in the best possible condition for all guests.
The most common route is by ferry from Oban to Craignure (approx. 45 minutes), then a 40-minute drive north to Tobermory. These ferries are operated by CalMac and we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially in summer. If you can't get a booking, the Lochaline to Fishnish ferry is a great alternative — it's a turn up and go service with no booking required, and adds only a short detour to your journey.
Yes — there is a Co-op supermarket in Tobermory, a short walk from the apartment. There are also wonderful local options including the Tobermory Bakery, Tobermory Fish Company and the Glass Barn deli. We recommend stocking up before arriving on the island as choice is more limited than on the mainland.
Yes — fast, free WiFi is included. There is also a dedicated desk space, making Bay View well suited for remote working with one of Scotland's finest views as your backdrop.

Weekly lets run Sunday to Sunday throughout the year. Short breaks available from October to March (3 night minimum). Extended stays of two weeks or more are always welcome.
